Everyone knows that Google’s search algorithm (its mathematical formula for deciding which web pages to serve as results) is a closely guarded secret, but that doesn’t stop blackhatters from trying to find weaknesses and exploit them.  Panda Security has recently uncovered a massive blackhat attack on the Ford and Nissan automotive brands.  More than a million links were created to trick users who searching for information related to the 2 brands on Google, to visit certain sites and download malicious software.

This practice of distributing rogue software has been on the rise. Read more about the attack in detail over at PandaLabs’ blog.
